Crafting Your Story

Have you ever thought about how writing about yourself and your accomplishments is harder than just writing an essay on any other topic besides yourself?

I’ve been tasked with this assignment as I am part of 100 volunteers participating in the Plus Me Project this year. I will be alongside 99 other volunteers who will be inspiring kids to pursue their dreams virtually on Giving Tuesday.

As I worked on my story draft today, it made me really sit with my thoughts and think through all the struggles I’ve endured and accomplishments I’ve achieved to get to where I am today. How you ever thought about how one decision has led you down a different path? If you didn’t take that left turn, would it have gotten you to where you are today?
