Respectfully Pass

Sometimes, we have to say a few no’s to get to the right yes. Earlier on, in one’s career, it might be advantageous to keep many doors open. Perhaps, you fear that there won’t be any doors along the way.

But as you grow older and collect more experiences along the way, it’s not so bad to decline on things that you know won’t serve you and your purpose. As humans, our time on this planet is limited — that is the one constant that we can all relate to whether you are rich or poor. A millionaire can’t just buy more time. Why waste your time doing something that doesn’t align with your beliefs and hold up to your standards?

This sort of outlook does come with experience and time. Paradoxically, saying no gets you closer to your “yes”.
